Right after we got home
Well we have 3 boys and this was our first trip to the ER so I guess we should count ourselves lucky. Gage was jumping on the bunk bed and landed where he hit the side rail and tried to bite his lip off. We went to the local ER and they told us we really needed a plastic surgeon, the closest one is Minot which is over 2 hours away...they told us to hurry and get there so we loaded up and did! He went into surgery at about 10:30 that night...the injury was about 4:30. The surgeon did a good job and you can't even tell he had an accident but he sure gave us a scare! |
