Basketball

Brody dribbling down the court

Zander trying to decide what to do with the ball

Gage supposedly cheering on his brothers but really seeing how much running he can get away with!

This year hockey and basketball have overlapped.  Each weekend we have to decide if we are going to do basketball games or hockey games.  The boys are pretty much burned out on hockey as they have been doing it since November!  I can't say that I blame them since I'm burned out too...especially chasing Gage and being almost due!
Brody is doing better than last year...he will at least stay with the other players and not walk on the court.  He keeps his arms in the air but hasn't quite got the concept down yet...he's improving!
Zander is hilarious to watch because it is a bunch of 5 year olds playing for the first time!  Out of 25 kids there are about 3 that have the idea of what they are doing down so it makes for a comical time!  Zander is usually more concerned about where you are and waving at you than the ball.  He is excited when it is his turn with the ball but other than dribbling it he really isn't sure what to do with it yet!
Gage loves to watch basketball but would rather be out there in the middle of it and running around than sitting and watching!  He is a handful to take to the games but what else is new?
